Facility Masters maintains private gardens, residential complexes and commercial grounds in Essen, the Ruhr area and nationwide according to an annual care plan based on growth and weather. Every job is done when it benefits the plants and your property most.
Garden and grounds maintenance is one of our 12 specialised divisions with its own expert team. That team plans the visits, carries them out with its own machinery and hands the areas back to you tidy. Your contact person knows the grounds and agrees special work such as new planting or cutting back directly with you.

Annual care plan
We define which jobs are due in which season, from the first mowing to winter services. Nothing gets forgotten, and you always know what is coming up next.
A tidy handover
After every visit we sweep the paths, take the cuttings with us and leave the grounds tidy. Larger jobs are handed over with brief documentation, with photos on request.
Correct pruning technique
Trained staff prune trees and shrubs at the right time and with the right technique. This preserves growth, flowering and plant health and avoids damage from incorrect or excessive cutting.
One fixed contact person
One person coordinates your visits, takes your requests and reports anything unusual, such as damage or diseased plants. You have a direct line instead of changing responsibilities.

How often should outdoor areas be maintained?
That depends on the size, the planting and your expectations. Shorter intervals make sense during the growing season, while in autumn and winter the focus shifts to leaves and cutting back. After a site visit we propose a maintenance rota that suits your property.
Do you dispose of the green waste?
Yes. We take grass clippings, hedge trimmings, leaves and branches away after each visit and dispose of them properly. If you use a compost heap or would like to keep shredded material as mulch, we are of course happy to follow your wishes.
When may hedges be cut?
Gentle shaping and maintenance cuts are possible all year round. Hard cutting back is not permitted during the statutory protection period for nesting birds and is therefore scheduled for the cold season. We plan the work accordingly and check hedges for nests before cutting.
Can winter services be booked separately?
Yes, winter services can be commissioned on their own or together with year-round grounds maintenance. We discuss the areas to be cleared, the priorities and the call-out plan with you. On that basis you receive a free, non-binding quote for the coming season.
