Home moves

For a home move we bring your belongings safely from the old flat to the new one. You decide which steps you handle yourself and which ones we take care of.

Moving without downtime

Office and company moves

In an office or company move, what matters most is that your business keeps running. We plan so that downtime stays short and every workstation is ready at the new location.

Taking apart, putting together

Furniture assembly and dismantling

Many pieces of furniture only fit through the stairwell and door when taken apart. We dismantle them carefully, move the parts in order and rebuild them firmly at the new location.

Arrive well packed

Packing service

Packing takes up most of the time in a move. We bring the materials and pack your belongings so they travel protected and can be unpacked quickly at the destination.

Direct to the door

Transport and courier runs

Not every transport has to be a full move. We carry single pieces of furniture, appliances, pallets and urgent consignments and bring them safely to the place you want.

Making space

Clearance and disposal

In a clearance we empty rooms fully or partly and take care of disposal. You get the premises back swept clean, without having to haul anything yourself.

Stored safely in between

Storage and interim storage

When there is a gap between moving out and moving in, or space runs short during a renovation, we store your things. You know what is in storage and call it back when you need it.

Parking right outside

Arranging a no-parking zone

A no-parking zone makes sure the removal van can stand right outside the building. We handle the application, signage and removal, so walking distances on moving day stay short.

Moves and transport without the stress

A move is made up of a hundred small steps, and those are exactly what we take off your hands. Facility Masters organises home moves, office and company relocations, single transports and courier runs, clears flats and cellars, and stores furniture when needed. From our head office in Essen we serve households, businesses, property managers and public clients with a clear schedule instead of improvisation on moving day.

Behind the moving and transport division is a dedicated team of movers, drivers and fitters who do this work every day. They inspect, plan vehicles and crew, pack, carry and reassemble. Your contact person stays with the job from the first enquiry to the handover of the empty rooms you leave behind.

How you recognise our work

Inspection and move plan

Before the move we record volume, walking routes, floors and any bulky or delicate pieces. You receive a written schedule with vehicles, crew size and sequence in advance.

Protection for furniture and building

We cover stairwells, door frames, lifts and floors, and wrap furniture in blankets and film. Old and new property stay free of scuffs, which matters at every tenancy handover.

Labelling with a system

Boxes, furniture parts and fittings are marked uniformly by room and contents. Each item lands in the right room, and you find the essentials on the very first evening.

Handover with a record

At the end we walk through the old and new rooms with you. Assembled furniture, anything unusual and any open points go into a handover record that both sides sign.

How early should I enquire about my move?

As early as you can, once the date is roughly fixed. Moving dates at the end of the month and in summer are in high demand, and a no-parking zone also needs lead time with the authority. Do get in touch even at short notice, and we will check what our team can make possible.

Do I have to pack myself, or can you do it?

Both are possible. You can pack everything yourself and book only transport and assembly, leave individual areas such as the kitchen and glassware to us, or order the full packing service. We bring the material needed. The quote shows exactly which option includes which services.

What happens to furniture I do not want to take with me?

We take it away at the same time. Our team removes unwanted furniture, appliances and cellar contents on moving day or on a separate date and sees to proper disposal. You hand over the old flat empty and swept clean without having to hire another service provider.

How is the quote put together?

You give us the start and destination addresses, the size of the home or office and your preferred date. For larger moves we inspect the rooms on site to judge volume and access realistically. On that basis you receive a free, non-binding quote with clearly described services.
