Our Tiling division lays ceramic, porcelain stoneware, natural stone and mosaic in bathrooms, kitchens and outdoor areas. A dedicated expert team plans the layout, waterproofs, tiles and hands over from one source.
Tiles that last and look good
Tiles are a decision for many years. That makes a sound substrate, reliable waterproofing and a layout that suits the room all the more important. The Tiling division of Facility Masters GmbH lays wall and floor tiles for private households, businesses, property managers and public or industrial clients, from the guest toilet to the commercial kitchen to the terrace, in new builds as well as refurbishments.
The work is carried out by a dedicated expert team that focuses entirely on tiles, natural stone and waterproofing. It takes the measurements, plans tile format and joint lines with you, prepares the substrate, lays the tiles itself and hands over the finished surface. One fixed contact accompanies you from the choice of material to final acceptance.

02Protection behind the worktop
Kitchen splashbacks
The splashback is the wall that has to take the most in a kitchen. We tile it so that it keeps splashes off, looks clean and suits your kitchen.

Large format & porcelain stoneware
Large formats look calm and modern but forgive no unevenness. We prepare the substrate carefully and lay heavy slabs with the right tools.
04Material with character
Natural stone & marble
Natural stone is unique, and no two slabs are alike. We lay marble, granite, slate and travertine with respect for veining, colour and the properties of each stone.

Mosaic
Mosaic brings texture and colour to areas where large tiles reach their limits. We lay glass, ceramic and natural stone in small formats with a calm, even joint pattern.

Terraces & outdoor areas
Outdoor coverings are exposed to rain, frost and sun. We plan build-up, slope and drainage so that terraces, balconies and entrances stay safe to walk on for years.
07Sealed in every corner
Waterproofing, grouting & silicone
Leaking joints are often where moisture damage behind the tiles begins. We waterproof wet areas properly, renew grout and replace worn silicone.
08Targeted damage repair
Tile repair & refurbishment
Not every damaged tile means a whole new surface. We replace defective tiles individually or refurbish coverings in sections, and clarify beforehand what makes economic sense.

How you recognise our work
Layout plan before the first cut
Joint pattern, starting point and cuts are defined before work begins and agreed with you. The result is symmetrical surfaces instead of narrow leftover strips at doors and corners.
Waterproofing with inspection
In wet areas the waterproofing is applied in full, checked and documented with photos before the first tile goes on. What is later hidden remains traceable.
Low-dust working
Wherever possible we cut outside the living areas or with dust extraction. Walkways, doors and adjoining floors are protected, and rubble and packaging leave the site with us.
Handover with care advice
At acceptance we check surface, joints and connections together with you. You receive guidance on curing times, cleaning and care plus the details of tile and grout colour.

Can new tiles be laid on top of old ones?
In many cases yes, provided the old covering is firmly bonded, level and the extra build-up height works at doors and connections. We inspect the existing surface on site and tell you honestly whether tiling over tiles makes sense or whether the old covering should be removed.
Do you supply the tiles or can I provide my own?
Both are possible. On request we advise you on format, material and quantity and take care of procurement. If you have already chosen or bought tiles, we check before starting whether quantity, calibre and suitability for the planned area fit, and then lay your material.
When can I use the new surface again?
That depends on the adhesive, grout, substrate and room climate. Adhesive and grout need time to cure before the surface is walked on, loaded or exposed to water. At handover your contact gives you the specific guidance for your project and the products used.
Do you coordinate with other trades such as plumbing?
Yes. Facility Masters brings 12 specialised divisions together under one roof, including Plumbing & Heating. In a bathroom refurbishment the teams coordinate internally so that removal, installation, waterproofing and tiling dovetail. For you it remains one contact and one shared schedule.
